These two buildings will be
constructed simultaneously, in the middle of the Wesleyan School campus.
Maintaining the safety of the students and faculty while accessing the
site will be key for another successful project at the Wesleyan School.
The Arts Building is a
three-story, steel-framed structure. The building will house the Middle
School and High School Band and Chorus rooms and practice space on the
lower and main levels. Also on the main level is a sculpture studio with
an outdoor sculpture court, as well as a two-story entry atrium. The
upper level contains the middle and high school art studios. The focal
point of the upper level, however, is a 200-seat black box theater.
The Athletics Building is a
two-story, steel-framed structure. The school’s competition gymnasium
with seating for 1,800 is the focal point of the building. In addition
to the gymnasium, the building contains five locker rooms for the
Wesleyan School, the visitors, and officials. The remainder of the
building includes athletic administration offices, concessions,
hospitality suits, and weightroom facilities. |
